This local church is a haven for locals who are doing it tough. They provide a meal every Sunday evening in the Church Hall. It’s known as the Sunday Suppers Welfare Program and is an open house for all who come. They also provide food parcels each month to those in need.

In 2020 SMCC provided a grant to assist with the cost of food.
