The South Melbourne Community Chest is a non-profit organisation that raises funds to distribute to local community groups.
We distribute grants annually to community organisations from the opportunity shop profits, financial donations and bequests.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. Without them we could not operate. We rely on them to work in the shop and on our management committee.
We would love to hear from you. Pop into the Op Shop, call the Shop Manager on 9699 6839 or visit out Volunteers Page for more information.
We are a registered charity, with DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status, so your financial donations are tax deductible.
Financial donations together with proceeds from the Op Shop enable us to make grants to local community groups. Your support helps expand our capacity to fund highly valued community projects.
